Who’s Your Favorite Speaker and Why?
I will entertain and enlighten your audience!
When you attend a luncheon or a meeting and there’s a featured speaker, why do you or don’t you like that speaker?
Personally, I like to listen to someone who is talking to me. I like to hear about something that relates to my life, and I like it when others in the audience contribute as well.
And that’s what I remember when I am speaking. I have given talks on everything from team-building to spirituality—and in between, I have spoken on networking, Grammar Damage©, and topics as remote as Lewis Carroll’s poetry.
And the trainer in me always comes out. The people in my audiences can participate as much as they like. They ask questions. I ask questions. I present controversial ideas. I encourage discussion.
Anyone who hears me speak will have a good time and will learn at least one thing he never thought of before.

I may not be one myself, but my dad is a comic. And I grew up with the belief that comedy is important and laughter is crucial to a happy life. So every once in a while, I do squeeze in something funny.
